Attention all D4AC dancers:  Today there will be a phone bank in Mr. Bascuk’s room after school (room 119).  You will be calling various businesses to ask for pledges.  All money raised between now and D4AC will count for both team and individual totals.  The team that raises the most money will receive 100 points!  As of now the team rankings are:  1st place – Blue Team; 2nd place – Orange Team; 3rd place – Green Team; and 4th place – Red Team.

 

Students and parents who were not able to attend last night’s College Fair at UT are invited to attend the College Fair tonight at Owens Community College from 6:30 to 8:00.

 

There will be a brief meeting Thursday after school for anyone interested in being part of the crew for the spring musical.  This includes set, run, props, publicity, etc.  The meeting will be in Miss Shepard’s Room 180.

 

Attention Volleyball Players:  There will be a meeting for all volleyball players after school Thursday in the cafeteria.  All girls who played last year and any who wish to try out next year are invited to attend.

 

Spring Sport Athletes, the Mandatory Spring Sports meeting is Thursday at 7:00 PM in the CPA (theater).  All spring athletes and at least one parent must attend.

 

Asian Cultures Club will meet Friday in Room 115 to watch a popular Chinese film.  You must pick up a permission slip in Room 115 to watch the film.  There will be snacks.

 

The GSA will meet Friday.  The discussion topic will be LGBT history.

 

Cougars, don’t forget that on Friday all juniors and seniors will report to the theater during homeroom for an assembly about our Blood Drive scheduled for March 30th.  Students who are 16 can also donate blood with a parent permission slip which is available in the guidance office.

 

Senior t-shirts will be available for pick up Monday during the lunch periods.  If you ordered and paid for a senior t-shirt at Cougar Kick-off, you may pick your shirt up Monday during lunch.  There are no extras for sale.

 

Career Tech applications are due March 22.  If you are a sophomore and plan to take one of our career tech classes next year, please fill out your app and turn it in to the guidance office.
